Orton-Gillingham Dyslexia Specialist |
Wilson® Dyslexia Practitioner
Evidence-based literacy intervention requires a clinical lens and a personal connection.
I founded Establishing Reading Roots to provide a specialized alternative to corporate learning centers. With a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Special Education, a Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.), and a decade of public school experience, I specialize in the precise, diagnostic instruction required for students with Dyslexia and other language-based learning differences.
Expertise Rooted in the Classroom
Having spent the bulk of my career in the New Jersey Public Schools, I have extensive experience spanning general education, inclusion, resource rooms, and self-contained settings. Beyond the classroom, I served as a dedicated Interventionist, where I coordinated I&RS action plans and led data-driven strategies for student success.
This comprehensive background allows me to identify the specific obstacles to a student's progress and bridge those gaps using graduate-level certifications as a Wilson (W.D.P.) and Orton-Gillingham Practitioner (OG-T). My goal is to meet every child where they are. I help them build the skills and confidence to succeed both in our sessions and in their primary classrooms.
