Bring the Expertise Directly to Your Child

This model is designed for students with complex learning profiles who need intensive, systematically sequenced instruction delivered with fidelity in order to remain successful in their current environment. In-school delivery is arranged in coordination with the school and its schedule.

Continuity

I deliver intensive, research-based instruction during the school day, so that a student receives support without the fatigue of after-school sessions or the disruption of leaving their primary learning community. Sessions are scheduled with the school to minimize time away from classroom instruction.

Progress Monitoring & Data Collection

Student responses are recorded in every session and analyzed for pattern, and formal progress checks occur on a set schedule. I hold parent update meetings at a set frequency to review the data and discuss any changes to instructional goals and the plan. 

Communication & Collaboration

Consistency across settings matters. With your permission, I share progress and the specific strategies and terminology I am using with your child's in-school support team, so that what happens in our sessions and what happens in the classroom reinforce each other.

Accommodations & Remediation

Classroom accommodations maintain a student's access to grade-level content while skills are still developing. My work targets the underlying reading and spelling skills directly, with the goal of increasing the student's independent access to the curriculum over time. 

A Concentrated Window for Growth

Summer offers concentrated time to work on specific skills. Without the demands of a full school week, students often have more available attention for intensive instruction, and increased session frequency allows for more practice in a shorter period.

Over an intensive four to six week block, instruction targets specific literacy skills so that students work toward entering the new school year with a more solidified foundation. These sessions are held in person at my Morristown office, which provides a focused, distraction-free, classroom-like environment.
