At Establishing Reading Roots, we provide a clinical, personalized alternative to scripted learning centers and their "one-size-fits-all" methodology. We believe literacy is a clinical practice. It is one that must be highly individualized and constantly tailored to your child’s specific assessments, not a pre-written curriculum.
Having spent the bulk of her career in NJ Public Schools, founder Sarah Galicki brings a decade of elite "insider" knowledge to every session. While corporate centers rely on rotating staff and rigid scripts, Sarah personally directs every student’s path, integrating a Master's-level understanding of Special Education and I&RS with certifications in both Wilson and Orton-Gillingham methods.
From leading general and special education classrooms to spearheading I&RS and Specialized Reading initiatives, Sarah has spent her career identifying exactly where students slip through the cracks and how to bridge those gaps.
Every session is a diagnostic opportunity. Rather than moving through a pre-planned script, Sarah uses live feedback from your child to calibrate the lesson in real time. This ensures the work remains at the leading edge of their ability, pivoting immediately when a concept needs more reinforcement or when they are ready to accelerate.
